I am Natalie Balderas Castillo. I am 17 years old and a high school senior attending Trevor Browne. I have been a part of the dance program for 4 years and joining was the best decision ever. I got to make friendships that will last a lifetime. I was lucky enough to be in such a caring and friendly environment that I saw these individuals as family. Dance has become a passion that grew really quickly for me. I just loved it and I love to do it. I also got excited to go to school, and I basically concentrated more on my education since dancing helped me with my imagination, creativity, and responsibility, all of which I utilized in school and in the outside world. I wouldn’t have gotten where I am today without the dance teachers who believed in me and gave me the confidence to be myself.
